There’s often no telling what’s going on in your pets head at any given moment. From chasing their tails to biting at shadows, they can act a little kooky. The best way for us to understand them is through their body language. We know when they’re happy to see us, and when they want us to feed them. Many of the most important signals can be communicated through how they act towards us.
While most pet owners know that keeping an eye on their pet’s body language is essential, many owners don’t realize how important it is to watch your pet’s body language when they’re asleep. How they sleep can tell you loads about how they’re feeling and what they need.
For example, a dog sleeping on their paws may actually be tense. This is because this position allows them to hop up at any moment, away from danger. If your pooch is sleeping like this, you may need to give them a space where they feel more comfortable, away from other pets and children.
