It is time to dust off the tuxedos, pull out the ball gowns, make your pup’s appointment at the groomer, andpurchase your tickets for the 28th Annual Bark Ball, which is back at the beautiful Washington Hilton on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Since 1987, the Bark Ball has established itself in the nation’s capital as the black-tie event for Washington, DC’s movers and shakers to attend with their canine companions, to celebrate and honor the programs and services of the Washington Humane Society (WHS). Every year the Bark Ball attracts many of the area’s most celebrated residents and leading figures from the political, media, entertainment, sports, and business worlds, along with their four-legged friends.
The Bark Ball is a one of a kind, exciting and special evening where attendees revel in the silent and live auctions featuring coveted vacations, fabulous goods, and exclusive services. Adoptable dogs are dressed to impress; exquisite cuisine; an engaging program; and music and dancing. Most importantly, you can bring your canine companion as your date to a seated black-tie gala – animals bring people together!
With nearly 1,000 human attendees and more than 500 dogs – tickets are certain to sell out quickly! To guarantee your attendance at this unique event, make sure you get your tickets early! Individual tickets to the Bark Ball are $250, with a “young professionals” ticket for guests under 35 years old for only $150. Tables, which seat 10 guests, may be purchased for $2,500. All ticket and event information can be found at www.barkball.org.
