An animal shelter in Cecil County is issuing an urgent call for animal adoptions.UPDATE: SUNDAY, 12:30PM – 4 dogs need homes – Capone, Dalton, Phantom and Socks. Coal has found a home! Here is the latest from A Buddy for Life’s Facebook Page:
It has come to our attention that a news report was run this morning with inaccurate information. While these 5 dogs are still looking for homes or rescue placement, they will not be euthanized tomorrow. We have until Thursday to place these dogs.
After many weeks of discussions between the leadership of A Buddy For Life and Cecil County Animal Services, they have agreed to take any remaining dogs to their new shelter on July 1. However, please don’t stop sharing! Both A Buddy For Life and Cecil County Animal Services feel that the dogs would benefit from going into a home or rescue environment instead of going from one shelter to another!
As always, we want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has adopted, fostered, and shared the plight of our dogs. When we announced in March that we would be closing, we had over 80 dogs. We now have 5. This is a huge testament to the community and the rescue community!
Update:Coal has a rescue placement so it not available.
All cats have been placed. 5 Dogs remaining that need homes:
