Question: Night Vision Dogs
“I have always heard the rumor that dogs cannot see well at night. However there are other sources claim that dogs can see better at night than during the day, almost like having night vision. What is the real truth to these rumors?”
Answer:
Unlike cats, who have a good sense of sight during the nighttime hours, a dog’s eyesight is really quite poor, especially compared to humans. Bit although he can see better in daylight, a dog is by no means blind at night.
