March 15, 2014-Baltimore, MD — There could be a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow at Baltimore Humane Society this weekend. The adoptable dogs, cats, and adopting humans could all be winners! The no-kill shelter in Reisterstown is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a Luck O’ the Irish Special.
Anyone applying to adopt a dog or cat can try their luck by picking a coin from a Pot of Gold. The coin they pick could be for anywhere from a 25% to 100% discounted adoption fee. So the lucky adopters will go home with change in their pockets and a new best friend for life. The promotion runs all weekend from March 15th to March 16th.
The Adoption Center is open to the public from noon until 6p.m. For more information or to see all the companion pets available for adoption go tobmorehumane.org.
