Baltimore, MD: Hamilton fixture Mutt Mart hosts a monthly “Coffee & Doughnuts for Cats & Dogs” event to support animal rescues, raise awareness, and promote community and local walkability.
This family-friendly event complements Mutt Mart’s “Yappy Hour” weekend concert series.
The shop is a short walk away from the Hamilton-Lauraville Main Street area of Harford Road, and close to neighborhoods standards for Brunch and Lunch, such as Silver Queen Café, Batch Bake Shop, Maggie’s Farm and Red Canoe, several of which feature pet-friendly outdoor dining (seasonally).
About Mutt Mart: Since 2014, Mutt Mart has been an independent pet supply store and invaluable resource to Northeast Baltimore and beyond. Founded to assist local animal rescues and adopters of rescue pets, Mutt Mart fills the calendar year with events to benefit animal organizations, including BARCS, the Maryland SPCA, Baltimore Humane Society, MAS Rescue, The Buddy Foundation, Thankful Paws, Pitties & Purrs and more. Owner Krista Cushman, who fostered animals for a rescue for several years before opening Mutt Mart, uses the store to promote care for pets with and without homes.
Mutt Mart features a curated variety of healthy food and treats, as well as pet necessities and accessories, such as collars, beds, toys, grooming supplies and more. The shop also accepts certain gently used pet supplies in exchange for store credit.
In addition to the many benefits, Mutt Mart also regularly offers unique opportunities such as training classes, nail trimming, themed sales, wellness events, pop-ups and more.
