January 24, 2018-Reisterstown, MD – On Tuesday, February 6th, the ultimate in relaxation and generosity is coming to Baltimore when cats and yoga combine to support Baltimore Humane Society. The no-kill shelter is hosting a cat yoga fundraiser at its partner location, Charm Kitty Café, where eight to ten of its adoptable cats reside while waiting to find their forever homes.
The one hour yoga class will be led by yoga instructor, Maura Roth-Gormley, and 100% of the class fee will go to the support of the animals at Baltimore Humane Society. All participants will also receive a loot-filled goody bag donated by the Bark! pet boutique stores. Participants will get to share their mats with the free roaming adoptable cats at the cafe. They are expected to experience their most purrfect cat and downward dog poses ever along with the inner peace knowing they are helping animals in need.
Space is limited so reservations are required. Tickets purchases can be made at https://bmorehumane.org/cat-yoga-fundraiser-at-charm-kitty-cafe/. Charm Kitty Café is Baltimore’s first cat café. It’s located at Whitehall Mill on 3300 Clipper Mill Road in Hampden. The class is at 7:45pm on Tuesday, February 6th.
