Homeless Animals Big Winners of Football Tickets Raffle Last Week to Win

August 27, 2016-Reisterstown , MD – Baltimore Humane Society is holding a raffle to help support operations at its no-kill shelter in Reisterstown.

One lucky person will win season tickets to the Baltimore Ravens or a trip for four to Florida, but hundreds of homeless animals are the real winners of Baltimore Humane Society’s Barktastical Save-A-Life Raffle.

For $10, anyone can purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win the Grand Prize – your choice of either season tickets to the Baltimore Ravens or a trip for four to Orlando. First Prize is front seats to an Orioles game. All proceeds will go to the care of the animals at the no-kill shelter in Reisterstown. Ticket prices start at $10 with various price breaks for quantity purchases.

The big winners, of course, are all the homeless animals being cared for at Baltimore Humane Society. The no-kill shelter’s operations are not funded by any local or federal governments or any national animal welfare organizations including the Humane Society of the U.S. So the proceeds from the raffle are a critical part of their fundraising.

Proceeds of the raffle go to help animals like:

Rowan (pictured above) – a three your old dog hit by a car, and now being treated with medications and supplements to help his joints.
Alex, considered a special needs pet because he is deaf.
Weezy, a long-haired lap kitten whose sternum did not form correctly and needed chest surgery to accommodate her growing organs.
Ketchup, an eleven year old senior kitty, extremely affectionate with the spirit of an adventurer.
