Bring mom for a beautiful 1 hour hike Sunday morning to start off a memorable Mother’s Day.
Come with kids, with a dog, or without a dog! It’s a fun, relaxed hour. Our Medical Director, Dr. Mary Zink, will lead us though one of our hiking trails.We ask for a small donation of $2. Bonus — Bark! Stores will have goody bags for everyone!

Details:
?Approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration
?BYO Dog (Proof of rabies vaccination required), or if you’re a current dog walking volunteer at the shelter, you can walk a shelter dog!
?Rain or Shine
?$2 per dog participation fee and a signed waiver form the day of hike
?Moderate to advanced hiking level, so dog and hiker need to be relatively fit and able to maneuver down trees, climb hills, and cross streams
?All dogs must be on a 4-6 foot leash (no retractable leashes permitted) and walked by a hiker that is 14 years of age or older (only 1 dog per person)
?Bring plenty of drinking water for yourself and your dog
?Appropriate hiking attire is recommended – comfortable, flexible, closed-toe shoes and durable clothing that can withstand mud, tall grass, twigs, stickers, stream water, etc.
