Peter Max's vibrant color palette and multi-colored brushstrokes have been applied to his commissioned portraits of many of the world's most famous and influential people: Presidents Carter, Reagan and Clinton, Mikhail Gorbachev, the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela, Larry King and numerous celebrities in the world of sports and entertainment. "Max's portraits compose a Who's Who of contemporary power and culture," states Charles A. Riley, II, author of The Art of Peter Max.

Today, one does not have to be on the cover of Time Magazine to qualify for a commissioned portrait by Peter Max, valued at $25,000! In fact, you can even have Peter Max paint your pet. For the next five days--and five days only--you have the unique opportunity to win a personalized commissioned portrait from one of America's best known artists!

Right now you can purchase one (or more) of the 200 raffle tickets for the portrait for just $100 a piece. The drawing for the raffle will be held September 14th at the Washington Humane Society's annual meeting.

You can win a priceless, personalized Peter Max portrait for only $100, and at the same time, support the valuable programs and services of the Washington Humane Society.

Go to our website donation page right now and purchase your raffle ticket(s) on-line by choosing "Peter Max Raffle" from the "Direct My Gift" pull down menu. Or you can purchase tickets by contacting Tanya Roberts in the Development Office, 202-723-5730, ext. 200 or tanya.r@washhumane.org.

Again, only 200 tickets are available, so act now.

Sincerely,

Howard Nelson
Executive Director
