Are you looking for free advice about dog house training? Do you need to know what your choices are when it comes to effectively teaching your new dog how to use the bathroom without messing up your carpet?  Look no further because today's article will discuss the two most efficient ways to learn dog house training for your puppy.

By this point you should already know that you must start dog house training the instant that you obtain your new dog.  Once home and ready to start your puppy with his dog house training, you must first decide whether to paper train or house train him.  Although both methods lead to the same result, they both are made up into separate areas of potty destination for the dog.

The first of these two types of dog house training methods that we will talk about today is called paper training.  What would make you decide to go for the paper training method?  This type of dog house training is perfect if you live in a very small area like an apartment that has limited outside training areas.

Another great reason for using the paper method of dog house training is if you are away from the home often.  You may have a full time job plus other outside activities that will keep you away at night from your dog.  If any of these situations pertain to you then dog house training using the paper method is perfect.

The goal with the paper method of dog house training is to teach the puppy to relieve itself indoors on any type of paper, like a newspaper for example.  You can eventually place the newspaper outside which will lead to the puppy going potty outside.

Paper training your dog is a very simple way to wean your dog into going outside, if that is what you wish.  Of course you can always keep the paper area inside if you are away often and live in a small apartment that has no outside free area, as discussed earlier.

Dog house training using the paper method is as simple as two easy steps.  All you need is a little patience and plenty of newspaper to go around.  Below is a simple 2-step method of dog training using the paper method:

1.  Place your puppy in an easy-to-clean room and cover the floor with newspaper.  Your dog may develop a preference to go potty in one particular area. When this happens, remove the paper from the rest of the floor area.  You can then gradually move this paper closer and closer to the door.

2.  Eventually, you can then place the paper area right outside your door for a few days.  One day, remove the paper totally when outside and praise your dog when it starts to go to the bathroom outside where the paper was once located.
